Privacy policy
Effective October 14, 2026
The short version: we only collect what you send us. We use it to make your mockup, talk with you about your website, and build it if you hire us. We never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Storefront Web Studio ("we," "us") designs websites for local businesses. This policy explains what information we collect through storefrontwebstudio.com and through our emails, what we do with it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- When you request a mockup: your name, business name, type of business, city and state, email address, current website if you share it, and anything you write in the message box.
- When you email us or join a video call with us: your messages and anything you choose to share, such as your logo, photos, or business hours.
- When you visit this site: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes basic technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't follow you to other websites.
We don't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
If we emailed you first
We contact local businesses using contact details those businesses publish themselves, for example on a Google Business Profile or their own website. We use those details only to contact your business about a website.
Every email we send includes a way to opt out. If you reply "unsubscribe" or ask us to stop, we won't email you again.
How we use your information
- To design your mockup and send it to you
- To answer your questions and schedule video calls
- To build, launch, and maintain your website if you hire us
- To keep the billing records the law requires
We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.
Companies that handle it for us
- Formspree receives the mockup request form and forwards it to our inbox.
- Google Workspace runs our email and video calls.
- Cloudflare hosts this site and provides our visit counts.
- Google Fonts serves the fonts on this site, so your browser connects to Google's servers to load them.
Each of these companies handles the data on our behalf and under its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep mockup requests and emails while we're talking about a project and for up to 2 years after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. If you become a client, we keep billing records for as long as the law requires.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the information we have about you, correct it, delete it, or stop emailing you. Write to hello@storefrontwebstudio.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Do Not Track
This site doesn't track visitors across other websites, so it works the same way whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
Children
This site is for businesses. It isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
